Banting Memorial Municipal Park
On Route 330, four kilometers south of Musgrave Harbour you can visit the Banting Memorial Municipal
Park, named in honour of Sir Frederick Banting, co-discover of insulin, who died in a plane crash
just outside Musgrave Harbour, over 60 years ago. The Banting Memorial Municipal Park with its
spectacular sandy beaches and warm atmosphere will be the one place you will not want to miss
this summer. This is the perfect place to relax in the sun or build castles in the sand. See
the incredible sunsets while you sit by a beach fire or go for that romantic walk by the ocean.

It is an ideal spot for the whole family where you can enjoy mini golf, pedal boats, a fresh
water lagoon for swimming, playground and picnic area. The park is serviced with electrical/water
